ARTdrops

What It Is

ARTdrops are multi-media collaborations of musicians and visual artists released digitally in on-line art galleries.

When artists collaborate with ARTS FOR MORE on an ARTdrop, they not only showcase their work, but they contribute to the missions of impactful non-profits.

COMPASSION DANCE, an ARTdrop

Benefiting: Save the Children & The World Wildlife Fund

Children and the arts go hand-in-hand as they are supremely creative humans, seeing the world in a way most adults seem to have forgotten. This ARTdrop features the joyful public artwork of the Oceanview and Marin Elementary Schools’ students and teachers, set to “Compassion Dance” by Peter Barshay, played by The Listen More Orchestra.

Your heart-led contribution to this ARTdrop allows you to collaborate with the children in supporting two nonprofits that matter to the students and the musicians: Save the Children and The World Wildlife Fund. Help bring light to their work with a contribution that allows you to grab your copy of the “Compassion Dance” track and enjoy Peter Barshay’s photography of all the totally cheerful artwork.

THE COMMON DISBELIEF, an ARTdrop

Benefiting: Doctors Without Borders & Oaktown Jazz Workshops

Set to a backdrop of wonderful old and new jazz photography by Ton Van Wageningen and George Wells, this art drop features “The Common Disbelief” played by the Listen More Orchestra. Enjoy photos of jazz and blues legends in their element as you listen to this tune recorded at the legendary Fantasy Records in Berkeley, CA.

Your collaborative contribution to this ARTdrop supports two nonprofit organizations the artists are passionate about seeing succeed in these particularly difficult times: Doctors Without Borders and Oaktown Jazz Workshops. Support these great organizations today with a contribution that allows you to check out all the incredible images and grab your copy of the "The Common Disbelief" track.

How ARTdrops Work

When you create an ARTdrop, you impact your local and global community.

How does an ARTdrop come to life? It’s pretty straightforward:

  • A musical artist or group contributes an unreleased track of a song.

  • The musical artist and/or A4M select a collaborating visual artist.

  • The artists choose the beneficiary NPOs they want to support.

  • The artists provide their content and details to A4M.

  • A4M and its collaborators determine how revenue will be distributed.

  • A4M creates and releases the drop.

  • All collaborators promote and market it through their channels.

  • More info available in our FAQ section.

Spreading the Word for Each Drop

All collaborators participate in promoting the ARTdrops to ensure greater success for all.

A4M makes it simple for collaborators to promote the drop by supplying the necessary materials to easily share the collaboration. Every ARTdrop will receive the appropriate collaborative marketing and promotion across multiple channels and accounts, including:

  • Social Media

  • Radio

  • News Media

  • Print Campaigns

  • Podcast Interviews

  • Email Campaigns

  • Blogs

  • Word of Mouth
